U.S. News & World Report released its on Thursday, and the 魅影直播 College of Osteopathic Medicine at The University of North 魅影直播 Health Science Center at Fort Worth surged to the top as the No. 1-ranked osteopathic school in the nation and No. 11 among all medical schools.
TCOM was the highest-ranked medical school in 魅影直播, and this is the second straight year it鈥檚 been ranked No.1 among all osteopathic schools nationwide. This marks the third time in the last four years that TCOM has been ranked as the top osteopathic school in the nation. Last year, TCOM was ranked 36th among all medical schools across the country for primary care, up from 57th in 2021 and 72nd in 2020.

We are committed to addressing the health care workforce needs of our state and country, and medical students who come to TCOM will be equipped with all of the tools necessary to be successful.
TCOM was ranked No. 10 in the nation for primary care production, up one spot from 2022 and 11 spots from 2021, which was measured by the number of 2014-2016 graduates practicing in primary care.鈥淭his ranking confirms what we鈥檝e known for years,鈥 said Dr. Sylvia Trent-Adams, HSC president. 鈥淭COM is one of the premier medical schools in the country. Dean Filipetto and his team have worked tirelessly to instill in each of their students a patient-centered, whole-health mindset built on a foundation of osteopathic principles, unwavering ethics and a relentless pursuit of new ideas. We couldn鈥檛 be prouder of our TCOM students, faculty and staff or more optimistic about the future of primary care.鈥
Additional rankings by U.S. News placed TCOM as the No. 3-ranked osteopathic school in the nation in research. TCOM was ranked No. 47 in the nation out of 161 schools for graduates practicing in rural areas.
TCOM鈥檚 Class of 2023 had 62% of its students match in primary care.
